
This is the inline high-speed inspection system for the mechanical and optical characteristics optical disk media, fitted with three laser optical sensors.
This equipment was developed mainly for the purpose of inline high speed automatic 100% inspection. The measurement method applied here directly measures the physical displacement amount by means of laser. The points of measurement are fixed at three places, at the outer circumference, the center, and at the innermost circumference. The equipment therefore is moving-table-free.
As a result, it is possible to measure the characteristics of laser-disk machinery, including reflectivity, within the high speed of two seconds with the standard specifications. (This is the actual measuring time.),
The newly developed optical sensor has made stable movement possible, thanks to a simple structure, few constraints on measurement, high resolution, high speed, a wide range, accurate testing, excellent reproducibility, and simple maintenance.
